We process personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where it applies to our offer to customers in the EU, and under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
2. Visiting the website
The website is delivered via Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, date and time, the page requested and your browser type. This is needed to deliver the site securely and quickly and to fend off attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Fonts and all other files are loaded from our own web space. No data is sent to Google Fonts or other font providers.
3. YouTube videos
We embed videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) in privacy-enhanced mode. A video only loads when you click its preview image. Only then is data such as your IP address sent to YouTube, and YouTube may set cookies. The legal basis is your consent by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
4. Contact and orders by email
When you write to us or place an order, we process the information you give us, such as name, delivery address, email address, phone number and order details, to answer your request and handle your order (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Emails to office@lawinenball.com are forwarded via Cloudflare Email Routing to our mailbox at Google (Gmail). For shipping, we pass name and delivery address to the shipping company. We keep invoice and order data as long as tax and commercial law requires (in Switzerland usually 10 years).
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent at any time for the future. Write to office@lawinenball.com. You can complain to a data protection authority, for example the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at), the authority in your country, or the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (edoeb.admin.ch).
6. Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or advertising tools. YouTube cookies are only possible if you actively start a video (see section 3).
